Three lots are being offered at this third stage of the Cabo Branco Tourist Hub. Two are destined to the construction of hotels/resorts (lot 02 – 4.53 ha and lot 05 – 3.3 ha), and another, lot 09 (16.55 ha), belonging to the commerce and services area, to the construction of a large “open-air shopping mall”.
It is important to highlight that, as a product of previous notices, contracts have already been signed for the construction of three pieces of equipment. One of them, the Surf World Park, will be a large water park, implanted in a 24 hectare plot of land, which will contain the greatest wave pool in Brazil, and one of the greatest in the world, with 31 thousand m² of surface and 200 m of diameter. In addition, contracts have been signed for the construction of two more resorts, the Ocean Palace Jampa Eco Beach Resort and the Amado Bio Spa. All of them are scheduled to start building in March, 2021. The interested parties will have a period of 45 calendar days, counting from the date of publication of the notice (November 9th, 2020), to submit their projects. The applications must be made exclusively through this link and the companies will have to present the formal requirement and all the documentation, according to the specifications contained in the public notice. The State Government has an important policy oriented to attracting investments. For this project, incentives will be granted related both to the acquisition of the real estate itself (lease incentive), as well as to the tax incentives (ICMS), these pertinent to the acquisition of some equipment necessary for the implantation of the enterprises. In addition, the Cabo Branco Tourist Hub has a specific legislation regarding municipal taxes (ISS), with incentives in the order of 60%. About the project The Cabo Branco Tourist Hub, the greatest planned tourist hub in the Northeast, covers an area of 654 hectares with 35 lots, 19 of them for the hotel sector, 1 for the entertainment sector, 1 for commercial and services and 1 for the events sector. Currently, the project already includes the Convention Center that is already in operation. The equipment has more than 48 thousand m² of constructed area and capacity to receive 20 thousand people, simultaneously, in its four main buildings, among which stands out one of the most modern theaters in Brazil, with capacity for 3 thousand spectators: the Pedra do Reino Theater. Environmentally sustainable, the Tourist Hub is located between the sea of the south coast of Paraíba and the green of the Atlantic Forest, being embraced by the largest environmental reserve of native Atlantic forest, inserted in the urban area, of Brazil: the Parque das Trilhas (578 ha). Through this Tourist Complex, the State Government works to make Paraíba stand out in not only cultural tourism, sun and beach, business and events, but also to be a reference in sustainable tourism, presenting to the tourist the concern with the environment, the society and the economy of Paraíba. |
